Katie Scott has been working in journalism and broadcast TV since graduating from Durham College in 2016 with a diploma in Broadcasting for Contemporary Media. She launched her career at Global News as an intern, eventually staying on with the team until 2020, where she covered entertainment, trending, and lifestyle news. Katie’s experience spans multiple outlets, including eTalk, USA Today, Yahoo! Canada and more.
She is an award-winning producer, earning recognition at the 2022 Canadian Screen Awards for her work on ET Canada‘s half-hour special Artists & Icons: Indigenous Entertainers in Canada, which won Best Entertainment News Program or Series. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies from Brock University.
