Canada's auto sector is taking another hit as Stellantis says it's shifting the production of its Jeep Compass from Brampton, Ont., to Illinois. The surprise move will be part of a US$13-billion plan announced by the multinational automaker on Tuesday to expand U.S. production by 50 per cent over the next four years, according to Unifor.
